2009 World Malaria Day Celebrated in Kombolcha Town

World Malaria Day 2009 Has been celebrated in Kombolcha town, Amhara Regional State on April 25, 2009. H.E. Dr. Kebede worku, FMOH State Minister was guest of honor for the event. and all partners from National and Regional level were present.
People from Kombolcha town and its surroundings were proactively mobilized and gave special decoration for the event. The WMD was successfully marked and it was accompanied with number of activities (Live music show, Circus by youth,different competetions,exhibition of organizations, social mobilization using mobile van ...etc) and MALTRA (Malaria/Trachoma) Week was also launched.
